How does the multi-tenant model actually work?

Each school you onboard gets its own subdomain ({school}.eschola.lk) and a fully isolated dataset. The Super Admin (Zuse Technologies, or a partner) manages schools from the apex domain. Within each school, data is scoped at the database level — no cross-tenant leakage.

Do we need to install anything on our school computers?

No. Eschola SIS is a cloud SaaS — your staff access it from any modern browser. There is also a mobile API (Sanctum-secured) that powers companion apps for teachers and guardians.

Can we keep our existing student records?

Yes. Annual plans include free data migration — we will import your students, guardians, classes, fee structures and historical invoices from spreadsheets or your old system.

Is the system available in Sinhala and Tamil?

Fully — every screen, email, and PDF is translated into English, Sinhala (සිංහල), and Tamil (தமிழ்). Each user picks their preferred language, and the system adapts in real time.

How are admissions handled?

Each school gets a public admission URL with a custom form built in our drag-config builder. Guardians submit applications without an account; you review them in-app, request payment with a magic link, and approve. The student record and first invoice are created automatically.

What about security and compliance?

Two-factor authentication (TOTP + recovery codes), Spatie role/permission control per school, Sanctum tokens for the mobile API, and a full per-school activity log of every meaningful action. Data is hosted in Sri Lanka with daily encrypted backups.

How long does onboarding take?

Most schools are live within 2–3 weeks. We handle data migration, configure your subdomain and admission form, and train your admin team — then you take over.
